Handcrafted Apricot Wood Slanted Spatula – One of a Kind, 13.5"

This one-of-a-kind wooden spatula was handcrafted from a branch of an apricot tree planted on our small homestead in the summer of 1989.

For decades, this tree has been part of our land, producing fruit, offering shade, and growing organically year after year. When one of its branches was pruned, the wood was saved and shaped by hand into a useful kitchen tool with a story behind it.

Measuring approximately 13.5 inches long, this spatula has a slight slant at the end that makes it easy to work along the bottom and sides of skillets, pots, and pans. Use it for stirring sauces, sautéing vegetables, scrambling eggs, turning potatoes, folding ingredients together, or gently scraping the bottom of a pan while cooking.

One of the most beautiful features of this piece is the grain. The natural pattern of the apricot wood runs through the spatula with rich character, making it as lovely to display as it is practical to use. Because it was shaped from a real branch and finished to highlight the wood rather than cover it, every curve, line, and variation is completely unique.

The apricot tree was grown organically on our small homestead, and the spatula has been given a natural finish that allows the grain and color of the wood to remain the focus.
