Handcrafted Apricot Wood Sourdough Spatula – One of a Kind, 15"

This one-of-a-kind wooden spatula was handcrafted from a branch of our apricot tree, planted on our small homestead in the summer of 1989.

That tree has been part of our land for decades, growing organically and providing fruit, shade, and now a beautiful piece of wood with a story of its own. Rather than letting a pruned branch go to waste, it was shaped by hand into a useful kitchen tool meant to be used for years to come.

At approximately 15 inches long, this spatula is especially handy for stirring sourdough starter or bread dough, reaching into deep bowls, mixing batters, stirring soups, or handling everyday kitchen tasks. Its long handle gives you a comfortable reach, while the natural shape and grain make each piece completely unique.

Every spatula is finished naturally, allowing the character of the apricot wood to remain the focus. No two pieces will have the exact same coloring, grain, knots, or shape.

I personally love this ones handle with the squiggly grain down the handle!
